In celebration of Chinese New Years, I wanted to highlight some Chinese creatives that I am lucky enough to call my friends. With the help of Angie Zou, who illustrated the frames, Han Wen, who styled my friends, and Coco Zhu, who did makeup, I captured the portraits below. Traditionally, red envelopes filled with money, 红包, are given to friends and family. However, I asked each one of my friends, if they could replace a red pocket with something other than money, what would it be, I hope you enjoy their responses!
